The old building smell in my room was unbearable, and who thought stairs leading to the third floor was a good idea? I expected a complimentary welcome gift or maybe a room upgrade, but that kind of treatment is apparently reserved for the special guests. Just couldn't give a better rating.

Both lovable and frustrating
Staff were helpful and the location was perfect for exploring the city. The breakfast at €6 was great value, complete with fresh coffee and juice.
Stairs leading to my top-floor twin room proved a workout. The shower was notably tiny.

We only slept at the family double room with aircon, but liked it. A hair dryer, guest toiletries and bath sheets were available there.

very good value for money, excellent maintenance of the rooms, fine location on a known commercial street
Some room switches are oddly placed higher above the bed. A small fridge would have been a great addition for cold drinks!!!

The hotel was exactly as described. Good location in center of Porto, 150m from metro station Balhoa. You can walk from hotel to Riberia in 15min and you can reach everything by foot. Beds are good and bathroom is small but it had everything you need. Staff is very good.
You can´t close bathroom door because they are´t real door so there is no privacy. We didn´t had problem with that but someone might. On saturday night there was some noise from next room (thin walls and doors) and from the street but at midnight everything went quiet

Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable for the price. Great accommodation for large groups travelling together and excellent location.
The street outside is very noisy and can be difficult to sleep. There are bars and music going until about 5-6am. Small price to pay for such a great location really.
